Every day that passes us by,

Beneath a dark grey sky,

And the harsh reality of life,

Something from a far brings up hope to survive,

Something sets us alive,

And every action, decision we ort,

There is the same force that circles short.

Around self esteem, courage, life and the soul,

There’s no explanation to ask why?

Other times we just think will this forever be?

Beneath rocks of existence this special thing protects us,

Builds up change in distance and brings salt for us to see,

As magical yet wonderful ort,

Here I stand as you make a first step towards the future.

On the other hand others may stare with envy,

But it’s not for them,

For I never ever experience something so sweet,

It’s like a child finding it’s first step or heart beat,

This wonderful feeling is locked deep inside,

For there’s no reason to give it to anyone other,

Than this special thing that you’ve found,

Yesterday you was lost and as far as a homeward bound.

Nor do I ever wonder?

Nor do I ever question,

As your mind wonders back to happier times,

When fields poured like crops o’ melting a sunnier shine,

Among delight and pain aching blue,

Today we’re are finally free,

Now this thing we’ve grown to like, admire and worship,

Is as strong and wild like the seas subsiding a dead man’s ship,

“And this thing is our angel who is waiting for us.”
