The Rise And Fall Of Humpty Dumpty

Humpty sat on the brick wall
was he tempting fate?
The Kings men arrived at the scene
but they were all too late.

Now Humpty's filed a lawsuit
against the builders of the wall,
the one that he did sit upon
then have his mighty fall.

The builders wrote to Humpty
about his civil claim.
They told him it was he
who had to take the blame.

Their wall of bricks and mortar
was never meant to be
included in a nursery rhyme
throughout all history.

So drop these silly charges
about your fall from grace.
You'll end up a laughing stock
with egg all on your face.

So Humpty dropped all charges,
it was settled out of court.
Now here there lies a lesson
that Humpty has been taught.

If you ever feel the need
to climb upon a wall.
Make sure you take precautions
so you will never fall.
