Astrology 

I should have seen it coming
paid awareness to the signs
sought out explanation
apathetic to her borderlines
impervious to prediction
uninspired to beat my drum
no heed of four-tune telling
or arrowed symphonious hum
she said she held the future
secreted within my palms
but the only outlook I foresee
was succumbing to her charms
